Teaching pre-school and kindergarten is such a blessing. I have always loved it so much. This is the time teachers and parents prepare kids for learning to read. One of the skills needed to read is understanding sequential order. Before children can learn the alphabet, they need to understand patterns and order. Putting things in order, is a vital lifeskill, from knowing how to get dressed or when to go to the bathroom, to understanding that a cup of milk will spill in certain circumstances. Sequence may seem like a simple thing, but it requires a certain degree of analysis, so it is a beginning critical thinking skill, also. This is why I am providing sequence cards on my webpage. I love preparing kids to learn to read and I have always loved teaching reading. I hope you will be able to use these FREE sequence cards. I’ll provide more as I finish creating them!
